Australian Consumer Law (ACL) provides certain guarantees to consumers when they purchase goods and these guarantees cannot be excluded, restricted or modified. These consumer guarantees are different to, and separate from, BonneBags Australia Pty. Ltd. ("BonneBags") guarantee, which is given voluntarily by BonneBags and is supplemental to ACL guarantees. The time limit of ACL consumer guarantees varies depending on the price and quality of the goods and may extend beyond this or any applicable guarantee provided by BonneBags".
New Zealand Customers
This guarantee is supplemental to any other rights and remedies you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 NZ, unless your purchase is made for commercial purposes, in which case BonneBags excludes all consumer guarantees implied in the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 NZ with respect to your product.
BonneBags Australia Pty. Ltd. guarantees every BONNE product purchased from a retail store (online or physical) in Australia or New Zealand (the "Product") against manufacturing defects, covering materials and workmanship, for 3 YEARS ("guarantee period") from date of purchase. The benefits conferred by this guarantee are in addition to other rights, conditions, guarantees and remedies available to you by law in relation to the supply of goods or services under consumer law. This guarantee provides every Product with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
What Is Covered
BonneBags guarantees to the original retail purchaser that all components will be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of 3 years. If a Product fails during the guarantee period due to a defect in material or workmanship, we will repair or replace the defective part if you send it to us postage paid together with your proof of purchase.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure (as determined by BonneBags or one of it's authorized repair agents) and you are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
During the guarantee period, at our option, we will repair or replace the Product (with an equivalent Product if your Product is no longer available) if you return the Product to BonneBags postage paid, together with proof of purchase.
What Is Not Covered
This guarantee does not cover damages that result from accident, misuse, abuse (including damage caused by airlines or other carriers) normal wear and tear (such as abrasion, scratches or fading) nor theft. Incidental or consequential damages, such as damage to or loss of, the contents of a bag, loss of use, loss of time or similar expenses are not recoverable under this guarantee.
This guarantee does not cover BONNE products purchased outside Australia and New Zealand.
Locks, where provided, are intended only to prevent accidental opening and cannot necessarily prevent theft of product or its contents.
Please keep your receipt as proof of purchase as it will authenticate this guarantee.
